Meet the Buyer North 2025 Outcomes

The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) has published a report on Meet the Buyer North, which took place on 10 September 2025, at The Music Hall, Aberdeen.   

Meet the Buyer North 2025 was organised by SDP and supported by the event’s Headline Partners, Scottish Government, Scotland Excel, and the Commercial and Procurement Shared Services (Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Highland Councils). The event also featured a dedicated Health Zone, sponsored by NHS National Services Scotland.

This free event gave suppliers in the North of Scotland access to buyers and decision makers from across the public and private sectors, helping suppliers raise the profile of their business and prepare for upcoming contract opportunities.

In total, 858 suppliers pre-registered for the event on the SDP website. 498 suppliers were in attendance on the day. This included 289 individuals from 225 unique Scottish SME businesses.

Meet the Buyer North 2023 Outcomes

The Supplier Development Programme has published an online report on the Meet the Buyer North 2023 event which took place on 12 September 2023 at The Music Hall, Aberdeen. Alongside the Supplier Development Programme, Scottish Government, and the Commercial and Procurement Shared Services (Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Highland Councils) were official partners of this event.

Meet the Buyer South 2022 Outcomes

The Supplier Development Programme has published the final report for Meet the Buyer South 2022.

Meet the Buyer South 2022 was held on 4 October at the Ettrick Riverside Business Centre in Selkirk. The headline partners were South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE), Scottish Borders Council and Dumfries and Galloway Council. In total, 578 suppliers pre-registered interest on the SDP website for the Meet the Buyer South event. There were 239 actual attendees on the day. Of those, 130 attendees were from 105 unique Scottish SME businesses. Of those, 7 were based in Dumfries and Galloway, and 24 were based on the Scottish Borders.
